Connectedness 

"I learned about Mandria Healing when I was sitting a full weekend meditation retreat. During the retreat, feelings of intense fear had come to the surface. While my meditation teacher said, “That’s great!” I thought “No, it’s not great, it’s really bad.” I felt so scared that I had to get up and leave a roomful of people. Then, I passed out; when I came to, a fellow meditation student mentioned Integrated Awareness and that Mark and Rachel might be able to help me deal with some of the feelings that felt so overwhelming.

I began to work with Mark and Rachel. One of the things about working with them that means so much to me is the safety and love they bring to the process. It’s been that safety and love that makes feeling my fear o.k... and then it releases.

During the sessions with Mark and Rachel I have felt complete safety, and that feeling is freeing. It is tough, sometimes, bringing up the issues I have dealt with all my life. In my case that means that for 38 years I had held on to my core issues, trying to figure them out. But actually feeling those things, physically and emotionally, is such a freeing experience. Being safe enough to feel the fear of losing control is, for me, a step toward being safe enough to let go of that fear.

The overall feeling that I have now is a sense that I have choices. That sense has been so much easier to get to with loving people around me. Working with Mark and Rachel, there’s a sense of “oneness,” a connectedness. That feeling is one of the greatest things in the world – like a flower blooming without force.

I have sent a number of people to Mark and Rachel; it’s not easy to explain what exactly Mark and Rachel do or how they do it. I simply say: “They are healers and I am healing."
