We hold our workshops in the main meditation room of the Open Meadow Zen Center, which overlooks acres of
conservation land.
The Center has a full kitchen which you can use if you would like to bring
your own food and snacks. There are also many wonderful restaurants just a few
minutes away in Lexington Center.
If you have chemical sensitivities, please be aware that incense is burned
regularly in the meditation room (although we will not be using it during the
program).

A pathway winds from the Center around the open meadow. In this view from the
path, the Center is just visible through the trees.
The space includes screened-in and open porches, and several additional rooms
that you can use if you want to take some quiet time.

The Open Meadow Zen Center is in a converted barn behind residential buildings. The
following information will help you find the correct driveway.
There is a fire hydrant by the front driveway, and on the first day of the program
we will tie a balloon to the hydrant to make the entrance noticeable.
If you are driving Eastbound on Marrett Road/Route 2A (towards Lexington
Center)
you will pass trees on your right, behind which there is a baseball field and an
open meadow. Immediately after this there is a fire hydrant on the right, and
the driveway into 212 Marrett Road is on your right just past the fire hydrant. If you
reach the Leap School (a yellow building) on the right, you have gone one
building too far.
If you are driving Westbound on Marrett Road/Route 2A (away from
Lexington Center) you will pass the Leap School (a yellow building) on your left, and
then see an large white house on your left. The driveway for 212 is just after
the white house. If you reach the intersection with Waltham Street you have gone
about half a mile too far.
Parking: When you enter the property, follow the long driveway all the
way to the back of the barn, and park down behind the barn. After you
have parked, continue to the far side of the barn, where you'll find stone steps
up to the main entrance, which is through the deck that you can see from the
parking area. Please do not park anywhere else, as the other buildings are
residential and it is important that we do not disturb the residents.
